Whiddens Marine is located on Boca Grande and is on the list of National Historic Places. I call it my famous painting because while I was painting it, three woman from Alabama came up on a golf cart and the 1st one said, Thaaats gooood, the 2nd asked, what's your name and the 3rd said, You must be famous and I turned and said, I AM . . . and that's why I call it my famous painting!
