Welcome to my web-site. I am a plein-aire painter, in otherwords, I pack up my canvas, paints and easel and head for some of the most beautiful beaches on the gulf of mexico and for that matter, in the world. I call it Paradise. Siesta Key, Boca Grande, Venice, Naples, Sanibel Island, if you haven't been there or if you are a regular, let my paintings take you to those places in Paradise that you either want to go to or are lucky enough to live there. I paint the people, kids, buildings, sand castles, families relaxing on the beach under their colorful umbrellas, the hobies on the beach, & shrimp boats in port and out on the Gulf of Mexico. I love the colors the gulf, the beaches with the palm trees, sea oats, sea grapes & mangroves evoke, and are reflected in my paintings. I do top-rated Art Shows and Festivals from Tarpon Springs to Naples from fall through spring.

My summers are spent in northern Michigan where I paint the people, lighthouses & ships in and around the Great Lakes from Lakes Huron to Superior and Lake Michigan. I also do Fine Art Shows and Festivals throught-out Michigan during the summer from June to September.

My style is my own, my technique ''Impasto'' uses thick paint applied with a palette-knife, giving you an Impressionistic Painting. Like Van Gogh, Monet, Pissarro and Degas, up close they all look like just a lot of color, but stand back and it all comes to life. A lot of energy goes into my paintings because of the time involved - daylight - the finished product gives all that energy back to you.

So enjoy your trip through my website and I hope you find something that brings back fond memories.
